Is it right for a trade currency forex offline (from a bank?)?

Want to know if people conduct operations Exchange offline for a bank to another in order to profitss. I want to do this personally, given the income potential it (am a student). What this means is that I can use the capital to buy and sell from one bank to another depending on daily rates. Is something new? Are there any threats to this effort?
